Selma Woman Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash Tuesday in Autauga County

MONTGOMERY POST – A three-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle that occurred at approximately 2:05 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, has claimed the life of a Selma woman. Esther Bivins, 75, was fatally injured when the 2007 Honda Odyssey she was driving crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2021 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Cindy M. Rabon, 63, of Bay Minette.

After the initial collision, a 2020 Ford T150 Transit van, driven by Brad L. Bostick, 51, of Prattville, struck the rear of the Freightliner.

Bivins was pronounced deceased on the scene. The crash occurred on Alabama 14 near the 135 mile marker, in Autauga County, approximately four miles west of Autaugaville. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
