PAHS Pet of the Week is Trooper: Handsome, Young Beagle is Super Active

Trooper is young and full of energy! He is waiting at PAHS for his new family

FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER (PAHS)

Trooper is a 6-month-old male Beagle who must be neutered before he is adopted.  He came to PAHS as a stray and his owner never claimed him.  Trooper is a super handsome young guy; his coat is mostly black with white and brown markings.  He currently weighs 16 pounds and he is underweight.  We are working on getting some weigh on him!

Trooper is SUPER active and playful!  We had a hard time getting him to contain his energy for pictures.  Trooper would definitely need a fenced yard where he could safely exercise and play.  Basically, Trooper is just a puppy with puppy love and excitement.  We feel sure he would be good with both children and other dogs.  Please come meet our bouncing boy–Trooper.  He is a doll!

Our adoption fee is $120 for dogs and $50 for cats.  This fee covers a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.

Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.    The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville.  Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.  We are closed the last Thursday of the month for staff training.

Adoptions are currently by appointment only.
