The Elmore County Family Resource Center (ECFRC) is hosting its first Child Abuse Prevention Banquet April 23 from 5-7 p.m. It will be held at 100 West Bridge Street in Wetumpka.

Entitled “Enlighten & Empower,” this will be a fun night of fellowship.
The all-blue semi-formal event aims to allow partners, community leaders, and the public to fellowship and discuss opportunities to promote awareness and prevention of child abuse.
“As our community overcomes the pandemic and is faced with new norms, it is vital that we come together to ensure the children and families of Elmore County have the support they need to thrive.”
Tickets are available now for $25 per person or $140 for a table. Attire: Blue and Gold semi-Formal. The evening will include speakers, dinner and door prizes. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
