Rocco is an 1-year-old male Collie (possibly Chow) mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. He was brought to PAHS by city animal control; and his owner never claimed him. Rocco has a gorgeous rich black coat that is medium length; it’s the coat of a diva! He weighs 50 pound so he is considered to be a medium sized dog. Rocco is such a good boy! He is sweet, friendly, and never meets a stranger. He loves everybody and everybody loves him!
Rocco is good with other dogs and would be good with children. This well behaved guy is leash trained and loves to go for a walk. Rocco is just a great all around dog who is going to be an excellent family dog–all he needs is a family to adopt him!
Our adoption fee is $120 for dogs and $50 for cats. This fee covers a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville. Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.
We are closed the last Thursday of the month for staff training. Adoptions are currently by appointment only.
