Capitol Sounds Concert Band presents ‘Spring Concert’ March 24

(Montgomery, Ala.) The Capitol Sounds Concert Band will present their Spring Concert on THURSDAY, March 24th, 7:00 p.m., at the Montgomery Cultural Arts Center, 1018 Madison Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104.

The Capitol Sounds Concert Band is celebrating its 50th anniversary throughout 2022!   The band will present their Spring Concert, Thursday, March 24, 7:00 PM at the Montgomery Cultural Arts Center (formerly known as the Armory Learning Arts Center).  The concert will feature guest soloists Dr. Dave Camwell and Katerina Pavlikova. Known as “Covert Ensemble”, both will perform on Soprano and Alto Saxophones. In addition to the featured soloists, the band will perform Xerxes (John Mackey), Danzon no. 2 (Arturo Marquez), Arabesque (Samuel R. Hazo), Trittico (Vaclav Nelhybel) and Pageant (Vincent Persichetti)

The event is free and open to the public, but donations are always welcome.
