Turnout Large for Central Alabama Republican Candidates’ Fair Tuesday Night

BY GERRI MILLER

There was a huge turnout of voters getting better informed with the county’s Republican political candidates at the Central Alabama Candidates’ Fair Tuesday night at the Millbrook Civic Center.

The event was sponsored by the Elmore County Republican Executive Committee and brought candidates running for both county and state offices. It provided citizens with an opportunity to meet the candidates and was arranged like a job fair where voters walked around the room, gathered information and talked to the candidates and their representatives about issues important to them.

There is a hefty list of offices and candidates expected to be on the Republican Primary Ballot in Elmore County on the May 24th Election Day. The list below is not an official sample ballot, but was provided as a courtesy by the Executive Committee.
