FROM ELMORE COUNTY SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT RICHARD DENNIS
Due to the number of faculty and staff absences Wetumpka Middle School will observe an e-day tomorrow along with Holtville Elementary, Wetumpka Elementary and Coosada Elementary, Airport Road Intermediate and Millbrook Middle Schools. All other Elmore County Public Schools will be on a regular schedule. We will evaluate the status of each school over the weekend and determine if we are able to adequately return for the next Monday and then notify parents and students. Also, please be aware that bus routes in some areas will be delayed due to a shortage of drivers and substitute drivers. This situation may continue for the duration of the COVID spike.
