Updated E-Learning Days Announced for Specific Elmore County Schools for Rest of Week

Due to the number of faculty and staff absences due to Covid, some Elmore County public schools will be virtual for the remainder of the week, January 20-21st.

Coosada Elementary School, Airport Road Intermediate School, Millbrook Middle School, Wetumpka Elementary School and Holtville Elementary School will be observing an E-Learning days for the remainder of the week. All other Elmore County Public Schools that are not listed will be on a regular schedule for tomorrow.

For Coosada Elementary School students, there will be packets available for pickup that started yesterday, Jan 18th at 2:00pm and these packets will remain outside until 3 p.m. on January 19th. Please pull around to the car rider line to find the buckets for each grade level. Each pod will have their own bucket and the packets will be labeled with student names. The packets will contain work for the rest of the week, should that work be needed. If you are not able to pick up your child’s packet, it will be sent home with them upon their return to school.

For Millbrook Middle School students, teachers will be assigning Edgenuity coursework and will have the assignments posted in their calendar on the school websites.  If you have any questions about an assignment, please contact the teacher via remind or email. 

For Airport Road Intermediate School, ARIS will have virtual learning and you will be able to pick up packets in front of the building starting today at 2 p.m.

All students should return to campus for face to face instruction on Monday, January 24th, 2022.

If anything changes for Monday, parents should look at the school messenger, remind messages or the Facebook page for updates. Also, please be aware that bus routes in some areas will be delayed due to the shortage of drivers and substitute drivers. This situation may continue for the duration of the COVID spike.
