MONTGOMERY POST – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:31 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, has claimed the life of a Clanton juvenile. The crash occurred when the 2016 Polaris ATV the 13-year-old was operating left the roadway and overturned. The juvenile and his passenger were both ejected from the ATV. The juvenile was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger was injured and transported to an area hospital. The crash occurred on County Road 77, approximately one mile north of Clanton, in Chilton County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
