You have the ability coming up Dec.11 to show off your “skills” in creating the perfect waffle! Sponsorship opportunities are also available for the competition with all proceeds benefiting local charities via the Prattville-Millbrook Sunrise Rotary Club Grant Fund.
The event will be held at the Lanark Pavilion in Millbrook, which is part of the Alabama Wildlife Federation property on Lanark Road.
Cook Team Entry Categories: Waffles Straight – Include what you want on the inside; syrup only on the outside
Waffles with Jazz – Jazz it up on the inside and outside; fruit, nuts, toppings (except chicken.)
Chicken and Waffles – Bring on the chicken and show us what you got!
Cook Team Entry Fees – $100 – One entry in Category of Choice and 1 T-shirt
$250 – One entry in every Category and three T-shirts
$300 – One entry in every Category, 4 T-shirts and one mulligan.
Teams will be given a designated time to present their submission to the Judges. Each team will submit four individually plated waffle sections, per entry category, for judging at their designated time. Each team will serve from their team booth, 150 samples of their submissions for attendee consumption. Mulligan provides for one re-submittal to the Judges if the sample is not ready at the designated time.
General Admission Tickets are $15 (Children under 7 are FREE)
