Excited for Halloween? Love Scarecrows? Main Street Wetumpka launched their Scarecrow Row event last week in Wetumpka, Alabama. The event runs through October 31st. Throughout downtown Wetumpka you can see many different creative and innovative scarecrows each with their own uniquely inspired design by the store owners of downtown Wetumpka.
“Our scarecrows name is River Rose. Before I owned our building, it used to be a pool hall and dormitory for the men who built the Jordan Dam. Let’s just say River Rose would have been a frequent flyer of this pool hall,” joked Sharon, the owner of River Rose Furniture. The River Rose scarecrow can be seen wearing an attire full of rose designs that matches her name.
Rhonda with It’s Personal Embroidery designed a fully embroidered scarecrow. Many of the small details on her face were embroidered. Everything on the scarecrow can be found inside of their embroidery store. “We chose this design for our scarecrow because we personally wanted to show what we do and why, it’s personal!”
