MONTGOMERY POST-– A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:55 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, has claimed the life of a Madison, Fla., woman. Eleanor J. Harris, 57, was seriously injured when she lost control of the 2012 Honda GL 1800 she was operating, and the motorcycle overturned, ejecting her. Harris was transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, where she succumbed to her injuries Monday, Oct. 25. The crash occurred on U.S. 231 south near the 97.4 mile marker, approximately 18 miles south of Montgomery, in Montgomery County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
