Youth Fishing Rodeo

The AWF Youth Fishing Rodeo program is designed to provide Alabama’s youth a chance to experience the outdoors and learn about fishing. Our goal is to instill a lifelong love of fishing and the outdoors in our young people. These events provide opportunities for families to share fun and quality time together while participating in one of our nation’s favorite pastimes.

Be a Volunteer!

Members of the AWF Volunteer Fishing Team enjoy the opportunity to influence a child’s life forever while making life-long friends. Just ask long-time fishing team member Abner Straughan. “This fishing team is a great way to spend your time. Everyone on the team is great to work with. And helping the kids learn how to fish is the best experience in the world.”
