COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT

WHAT: THE ANNUAL BOB LEE SPRING CLEANUP

WHERE: Autauga County, & Prattville

WHO: Autauga County P.A.L.S. & Partners

WHEN: April 2021

AUTAUGA COUNTY P.A.L.S. in partnership with the City of Prattville, Autauga County Commission, Prattville-Area Chamber of Commerce, and Association of County Commissions in Alabama, are promoting SPRING CLEANUP to clean up litter where we live, work, play, and pray, without gathering, but safely distant.

The pandemic has not reduced litter dropped on our roads and streets, but safety is a must when cleaning up after litter bugs. Spring Cleanup, a statewide event in Alabama since 1987, can be done safely on your street or road without gathering. Church, office, business, school, scout, civic, and sports groups, families, and individuals can get bags to clean up anytime.

Call Autauga County P.A.L.S. for litter bags at 334 850 7153 for April 2021. Volunteers can tie bagged litter and leave in the Right-of-Way for pickup by city and county litter crews. Volunteers and groups can also ADOPT-A-MILE at www.alpals.org.

PLUS: FOR AUTAUGAVILLE SPRING CLEANUP, MARCH 13, meet @ Town Hall, 8 am.
