Prattville’s Way Off Broadway Theatre is excited to announce its production of On the Air, a collection of old-time favorite radio shows from 1946 to 1956.

On the Air will be presented Thursday through Sunday, March 4 through 7, at the Way Off Broadway Theatre in Prattville.

The production will include episodes from My Favorite Husband, The Bickersons, Our Miss Brooks, and Yours, Truly, Johnny Dollar.

Go back in time to the Golden Age of Radio when radio was the main form of electronic entertainment. Families would gather around the radio to enjoy the comedic talents of Lucille Ball and many others, the constant drama of soap operas, the excitement of mysteries, music, and more.

On the Air will open at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, and will run through the weekend, with shows on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and reservations must be made in advance. Tickets can be purchased with MasterCard or Visa over the phone at 334-595-0850 or with cash or check at the Prattville Cultural Arts Building at 203 West 4th Street.

We will follow all health and safety precautions and masks are required. We will be practicing social distancing with seating, so reservations are required and seats will be reserved.
