MONTGOMERY POST — At approximately 6:36 a.m. today, Feb.10, the CSX Railroad Company notified the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) concerning several railroad-crossing closures for repairs in Montgomery County. The crossings will shut down for an undetermined amount of time: Twin Lakes Parkway/Birmingham Highway, Birmingham Highway/Birmingham Hide and Tallow Company, Birmingham Highway/Nelson Paint, U.S. 31/West South Boulevard and Trinity Road/Birmingham Highway. ALEA will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
