The much-awaited Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting for Millbrook’s Popeyes will take place beginning at 9:30 a.m. this Thursday, with food service beginning at 11 a.m.

Popeyes is located next to Taco Bell on Hwy. 14.

The ribbon cutting is open to the public, with officials welcoming the new business to the city. Food service will begin at 11 a.m., according to Millbrook Mayor Al Kelley.

This is the latest of ribbon cuttings for the city. On Monday the Neighborhood Grill opened for business next to Food Outlet, formerly the China Buffet.

“It is incredible what the owners of Neighborhood Grill have done to that location,” Mayor Kelley said. “The inside is absolutely beautiful.”
