Elmore County Schools Expected to Return to Traditional Format Tuesday after MLK Holiday

Elmore County School’s Call Out for January 15, 2021

This is Richard Dennis, Superintendent of Elmore County Public Schools.

As we complete our second week of second semester, 15 employees and 30 students reported testing positive for COVID-19. Holtville and Coosada Elementary Schools were placed on a virtual platform this week due to the high number of absences related to COVID-19 and the other typical absences this time of year.  Additionally, Stanhope Elmore High School was transitioned to a virtual platform for today for the same reason.  At this time all three schools are expected to return to a traditional format next Tuesday after the Martin Luther King Holiday.   We will continue to monitor the health status of each school and communicate necessary changes to traditional school attendance as needed.

If you wish to get call outs and other system-wide communications texted to you through Remind, visit the Elmore County Public Schools website and follow the registration process.

Thank you for your support and have a great weekend!

Every Student Empowered, Every Student Succeeds.
