A house fire destroyed a home on Jug Factory Road in Elmore County recently, but fortunately the residents were not injured. However, all of their personal possessions were also destroyed. Individuals and agencies immediately went into action to offer help.

Chaplain John Gallops with the 1:1 Foundation, along with the Elmore County Firefighters Association, and the Elmore County EMA recently delivered over $2,600 in gift cards and donations to the family of Amy Collier after an early morning fire on Dec 11 off Jug Factory road.

The fire destroyed the home and everything inside just two weeks before Christmas.

Mrs. Collier and her family would like to thank everyone in the local community for everything they have done, and all the first responders that showed up that day.
