CAEC’s Youth Tour is going virtual!

Despite the Montgomery Youth Tour being cancelled due to COVID-19, CAEC has created a virtual Youth Tour experience in order to provide area high school juniors with an awesome leadership training opportunity and a chance to win one of several $2,500 scholarships!
The virtual day includes fun and the insightful activities below and much more:
Virtual meeting with your legislators: Juniors will have the opportunity to virtually meet with their local state legislators where they will be able to ask questions and receive advice.
Virtual Escape game: Students will have the opportunity to break off into teams and use their co-op knowledge to escape out of a dangerous virtual escape room.
Leadership speaker and activities: Hear from a renowned leadership speaker and discuss the qualities of leadership and what it means to you.
Virtual team trivia: Participants will join forces with each other students and a CAEC employee to test their newfound electrical knowledge.
Students participating must meet the following requirements:
Have a 2.5 grade-point average (GPA) or higher.
Demonstrate an active interest in community, civic and extracurricular activities.
