MILLBROOK AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
Erika Guthrie is 20-years-old and already living out her dream of owning her own business.
Erika is the owner of the newly established Shop Edge Boutique located on Main Street in Millbrook. She offers an array of clothing, shoes, accessories and more and continues to add products weekly.
After graduating from Edgewood Academy in 2018 Erika attended Huntingdon College and was on the cheer team there through her freshman year. Afterwards she transferred to AUM to pursue a double major in Marketing and Management. She is still currently enrolled at AUM.
Erika was born and raised in Millbrook and knew when she opened a business, she would open it here. “I love my community and wanted to give back to it,” said Guthrie.
When asked why she joined the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce Erika said “I joined the Chamber to get to know more people. I really wanted to dive deeper into getting to know my community even more.”
Erika has always had a passion for fashion but what pushed her to open her boutique was the idea of helping women feel confident about themselves and providing them with a comfortable environment in which to shop.
