Sworn into office for the first time was new Commissioner for District 1, Rusty Jacksland. He replaces longtime Commissioner Sid Thompson, who was recently honored for her years of service by the Commission and the City of Prattville.

All of the Commissioners were surrounded by proud family and friends during their swearing in ceremony, and later posed for pictures which we have posted below.
After the swearing in ceremony, the Commission named Jay Thompson as Chairman, and John Thrailkill as Vice Chairman for the new term.
The meetings of the Autauga County Commission are held at 5:30 p.m. in the Commission Meeting Room on the first and third Tuesdays of each month (unless the Commission changes the meeting date due to holidays, etc.).
Congratulations to Jacksland on your new position, and many thanks to all Commissioners who are willing to serve their county and districts.
