Autauga County and City of Prattville Honor Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce

FROM THE PRATTVILLE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Prattville, AL—The Autauga County and the City of Prattville have proclaimed October 19-23, 2020 as “Chamber of Commerce’s Week” in the Autauga/Prattville community, honoring the work the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce does throughout the year.

The proclamations from the City of Prattville and the Autauga County Commission applaud the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce’s work to advance, enhance and strengthen the quality of life in Autauga County and Prattville by promoting increased employment, commerce, and growth and by encouraging new businesses and individuals to locate in the Prattville/Autauga community. President Ronald Reagan once said, “no community will ever be very much better than its chamber of commerce causes it to be.”

This week is a part of the Alabama Chambers of Commerce Week celebrating the efforts of the 100+ local chambers of commerce across the great state of Alabama. In observance of Chamber of Commerce week, we know that our state and our communities remain a strong, vibrant, and attractive place to do business because of their efforts.

“The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce appreciates all of our members, investors and partners, because without their support, the Chamber would not exist! The future of our community, and our state, depends on having a vibrant economy and healthy business community. Our community will only be as successful and strong as our businesses, and together we devise strategies, helping to cast a vision of possibilities, spurring growth, and ensuring tangible wins for business and our community as a whole. We thank our members and partners for investing in the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce and making our community a better place to live. Let’s face it, we are stronger together!

The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce is not a part of city, county, or state government; a political party; or a civic or social club. It is a membership driven organization through which volunteer manpower works effectively to make Prattville and Autauga County a better place to live, work and play.

“The City of Prattville is proud to honor and work with the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce. We appreciate the continued partnership, commitment, and service that the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce provides for our Community,” Mayor Bill Gillespie, Jr.

For more than 47 years, the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit, professional membership driven organization, has been working to advance the commercial, industrial, civic and general interest of Prattville and Autauga County, while working to create jobs, providing resources and advocating for our businesses at the local, state and federal level. The Chamber’s program of work includes Economic and Workforce Development, Membership, Small Business, Military Affairs, Tourism and Advocacy.

“Autauga County continues to be stronger because of the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce,” said Jay Thompson, Autauga County Commissioner, Chairman. “The services they provide to our community are invaluable and we encourage all businesses and community members to take advantage of the resources available from the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce.”
