The Wetumpka Police Department is currently investigating a burglary that occurred at a storage rental facility.

On September 3, 2020, between 01:19 AM and 02:13 AM an unknown suspect(s) entered Storage World located at 749 US Highway 231 Wetumpka, AL 36092 and entered several storage units, stored RV’s, and stored boats, removing items from each. Some of the more notable items stolen include a Fusion amp from a boat, marine stereo, several fishing poles, and a wake board.

Camera footage from the area show what appears to be either a gray or light blue SUV crossover (Possibly VW) enter the facility at 01:19 AM and exit at a high rate of speed at 02:13 AM.

Wetumpka Investigators are hoping that someone will be able to identify this offender through the released photos.
