State and local leaders commemorate Mountain Top’s First North American Plant
Montgomery, Ala. – September 16, 2020 – Today, Mountain Top Industries officially announced their expansion into the U.S. market with the opening of a 73,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Montgomery. Mountain Top Industries is headquartered in Denmark and is a global leader in manufacturing of aluminum roll covers for pickup trucks. The new state-of-the-art facility, located along I-85 in Montgomery Industrial Park at 655 Industrial Park Boulevard, will include $13.3M in capital investment and will support 90 full time jobs with an annual payroll of $3.39M. Honored guests who participated in the event included Montgomery County Commission Chairman Elton Dean, Montgomery Mayor Steven L. Reed and Chairman of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100, Russ Tyner.

With the assistance of the Chamber, and Nim Frazer with Industrial Partners, this park is an economic driver for the area,” says Elton Dean, Montgomery County Commission Chairman. “We are honored to add Mountain Top to the great companies located in this beautiful park. Not only will Mountain Top be providing new well-paying jobs, they will supply Hyundai Motor Manufacturing for the exciting new Santa Cruz pickup program.”
