The City of Prattville is excited to celebrate National Farmers Market Week August 2-8! The
Prattville Farmers Market growers and makers are working hard to bring the freshest products to
our area and they will be out in the Grove on Doster Road early every Saturday through the end of
August.
There will be lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade baked goods, pickles, jams, jellies,
local honey, fresh ground cinnamon, farm fresh eggs, and more. From peaches to potatoes, green
tea to tomatoes, we have a great selection of locally grown, homemade and handmade goodies.
Summertime is great for grilling and there’s nothing like fresh grilled corn with lime butter or grilled
peaches with a drizzle of honey. Make campfire pockets with potatoes, onions, carrots, and
peppers wrapped in foil or wake up to a slice of homemade morning glory bread with fresh farm
raised eggs. You can find all you need at the Prattville Farmers Market Saturdays from 7am-12
noon, but come early for the best selection!
On Saturday, August 8, come out and celebrate National Farmers Market week with us and enjoy
some special giveaways with t-shirts, tote bags, recipes, coloring books, and prize baskets from
our local vendors. Check in at the Prattville Farmers Market Facebook page during the week to
get special information about our farmers and our plans for this special market day.
The City of Prattville and the Prattville Farmers Market want our market visitors and our vendors to
be as safe as possible, so we are practicing social distancing, wearing masks, and providing hand
sanitizing stations to help to stop the spread of COVID19.
