FROM THE ELMORE COUNTY COMMISSION
An invitation from the US Census Bureau to participate in the 2020 Census was mailed out in mid-March. Even if you have not received the invitation, the census can still be completed online at www.my2020census.gov or by calling the Census Bureau at 844-330-2020.
Below are the current response rates for Elmore County and all our municipalities. We will share the response rates periodically so our citizens can see how our communities are working to maximize participation.
Alabama is ranked 31th in the country with a self-response rate of 59.9%.
Elmore County is ranked 7th in the state with a self-response rate of 65.1%.
Millbrook 73.7%
Prattville 72.0% (A portion of Prattville falls within Elmore County)
Wetumpka 66.6%
Coosada 65.7%
Eclectic 64.1%
Elmore 60.0%
Tallassee 59.6%
Deatsville 54.1%
