Family and friends are gathering today for the visitation and funeral for Kendrick Treyvaun “Trey” Williams, 25, who was shot July 11 on Sharon Lane in Millbrook.
Millbrook Police were on scene shortly after a report of shots fired late in the evening of July 11. They discovered Williams with a head wound from gunfire. Millbrook Fire Medics attended Williams on scene, and transported him to a Montgomery hospital. He died later on July 12 from his injuries, but his family said his organs were donated to help try and save lives of at least three other people.
No arrest has been made in the case as of this afternoon, but Millbrook Police Chief P.K. Johnson said he is “very confident” that an arrest will be forthcoming.

Mr. Kendrick Treyvaun “Trey” Williams age 25, a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. with Dr. Derwin Perry officiating. Trey is survived by his mother, Tametric Williams & father Steven R. Fitzpatrick; daughters , Chyna Williams; McKenzie Williams; Lorelle Williams; Kennadi Williams; sisters, Jazsmine Williams; Savannah Fitzpatrick; Tatayna Fitzpatrick; Erica Singleton; Briana Boyd; grandmothers, Fannie Williams and Dorothy Jordan and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m and one hour prior to the services.
