A “Back The Blue” Parade is planned for Clanton Saturday, to show support for area law enforcement.
Saturday July 18th at 5 p.m., there will be a parade to show support for law enforcement. Here lately law enforcement has been portrayed as a bad thing from people wanting to defund police to doing away with them. There are many men and women who do their jobs with courage, honor and integrity.
It’s time we stand up and show our support for them. If you would like to participate in the parade, everyone will meet at Fred’s parking lot at 4 PM for line up and the parade will start at 5 PM.
Motorcycles, side by sides (no real aggressive tires) and golf carts are permitted. Attached is the route that the parade will take so if you don’t want to be in the parade, I hope you will at least line the route and show your support for law enforcement. I hope all our local politicians, those running for political office, business owners and our community will come out and show their support.
