FROM THE CITY OF PRATTVILLE

There are two more dates coming up to take part in the food distribution program through Central Alabama Aging Consortium (CAAC), USDA, GA Foods, and the Alabama Department of Senior Services. Boxes of food will be provided to those in need on a first come/first served basis.

We will help distribute a total of 560 food boxes on a first come/first served basis. There will be a limit of 1 box per car. Each box will contain 8 pieces of fresh fruit, 5 pounds of pre-cooked meat (chicken or pork), approximately 5 lbs. assorted fresh vegetables, 12 oz. of cheese, 1 lb. of butter, and the equivalent of one-half gallon of milk.
Volunteers will be distributing the food boxes from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. this morning on July 30th and August 20th at Stanley-Jensen Stadium. If you have any questions, please contact CAAC by calling 334-240-4680 .
