As I strive to pursue the Elmore County, District 1, Commissioner seat, I am asking for your vote on July 14, 2020, in the runoff election.
During this humbling experience running for Commissioner, I have had the privilege of traveling throughout Elmore County District 1 knocking on doors and having conversations with stakeholders who include residents, business owners, community leaders, and part of various organizations. I have enjoyed listening to the many personal stories you have shared with me about your families. I have listened to, and noted, your frustrations and concerns. This has given me a deeper understanding of individual community needs and for District 1 as a whole.
I will always be HONEST with you and will communicate facts to you, even if they are not popular. I will actively be consistent and persistent seeking advice and input from my constituents which will be accomplished by communicating, listening, working alongside, and assisting you, the people I will serve. I will gather information obtained through communication and observance, and I will always respect and value the opinions, decisions, and work of all concerned stakeholders.
In everything I do, I will be transparent, and you will always have my ear. Being an Elmore County Commissioner requires an active and ongoing presence in not one community but in all communities which I will serve and represent. This position is more than attendance at required monthly meetings. I attended and participated in the Republican Kickoff Forum, the Tea Party Meet and Greet, the Republican Scholarship Dinner, the Wetumpka and Holtville Christmas Parades, and I have visited with volunteer fire departments. It is time to have a District 1 Commissioner who realizes that he works for, works with, and serves all citizens all the time.
Please exercise your right to vote. A vote for me, Henry Hines, for the Elmore County, District 1, Commissioner seat on July 14, 2020, is much appreciated. It is my desire to serve you and make our communities, our district, and Elmore County a better place in which to live.
