June is Adopt a Shelter Cat month, and PAHS Has Many To Choose From; Meet Cobern!

FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER

Say Hello to Cobern, who is waiting for a forever family to adopt him from PAHS.

Cats and kittens are pouring in now—just in one day we received in 15 cats and kittens.  Our featured pet this week is Cobern.

Cobern is a 2 year old medium haired, male cat who has already been neutered. He was brought to PAHS after he had roamed a neighborhood for several weeks with no apparent owner.  We believe Cobern has been outside most of his life and would be happiest if he were mostly an outdoor kitty. Cobern gets along with females cats better than he does male cats; and he would be fine with children. Cobern is a silly boy who is very affectionate; and he will make a great addition to some lucky adopter’s family.

Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville.  We have returned to our regular hours of Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.   For more information about our shelter, please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email autaugahumane@yahoo.com., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.

Your help in finding homes for these pets is really appreciated.

Sincerely,

Ara Horn
