Our featured pet this week is gorgeous Annabelle. June is Adopt-a-Cat month so we may use a cat every week this month.
Annabelle is a 2-year-old, female, orange and white tabby cat. This is a gorgeous kitty! She is very friendly, but is shy and hides when there is unfamiliar company around. We believe Annabelle would do better in a quiet home with older children. She would be fine in a home with other cats. Annabelle must be spayed before leaving the shelter. If you are interested in adopting her, you may place a non-refundable deposit on Annabelle that will then go toward the adoption fee.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville. We have returned to our regular hours of Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.
