A group of students from Stanhope Elmore High School had a very special, social-distanced, visit from their teachers earlier today.

Stanhope Elmore High school multi-needs teachers rode by houses of students, stopping to hold up signs from a safe distance, and remind their kids they are loved and remembered. They also dropped of schoolwork.

SEHS Softball Coach Virginia Barber was part of the crew earlier today, and said it did her heart a lot of good in these scary times.

She said that she hopes people understand that this separation from teachers and students is emotionally challenging. This was just a way for them to reach out, safely, deliver necessary schoolwork, and show some love. See more photos below!
