Two Students from SEHS Take Grand Prize in National EarSketch Ciara Remix Competition

Congratulations to two Stanhope Elmore High School students who are among Grand Prize winners in the nationwide EarSketch Ciara Remix Competition.

Grand Prize winners in our area are Jalen Smith & Ronail Brown Jr., Grade 9, Stanhope Elmore High School, Millbrook, Alabama. They won PreSonus Audiobox 96 Studio Equipment and $25 Amazon Gift Cards.

From EarSketch: Our sincere thanks to everyone who participated.  We had over 1,200 entries from 32 states.    We loved listening to your awesome beats and deciphering your complex code.  It was an extremely competitive pool and we encourage everyone to keep coding and composing.  Each student entrant will receive a Certificate of Participation in their email next week.  Winners were chosen by a panel of judges by a panel of judges who are experts in music technology, composition, computer science, and STEM education
