PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Raylee! Stunning Girl, Friendly and Sweet

FROM PAHS

Our featured pet this week is Raylee.  What a girl!

Raylee is a 2-year-old female American Bulldog mix who must be spayed before she is adopted.  She came to PAHS as a stray and her owner never came looking for her.  Raylee is a solidly built lady who weighs 50 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog.  She is a stunningly pretty girl who is almost completely white with chocolate markings on her head.  Raylee is a friendly and sweet girl who would be fine in a home with children.  We suggest if you have other dogs that you bring them in for a meet and greet with Raylee.  She gets along well with most other dogs but might play too rough to be with smaller dogs.  Raylee loves to be outside and would appreciate a nice fenced yard where she could safely play.  She is leash trained and enjoys going out for a walk.  Raylee is pretty frisky so she would need to have regular exercise.  Come meet this great big beautiful girl!  Raylee is a wonderful dog who will be a great addition to some lucky adopter’s family.

Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm except one day each month when we close for staff development.  That will be on February 27th this month.  For more information about our shelter, please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email autaugahumane@yahoo.com., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.

Your help in finding homes for these wonderful pets is appreciated so very much.

Sincerely,

Ara Horn
