PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Oliver! Done with Street Life, He Needs a Loving Home

FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER

Oliver is an 1-year-old male Chihuahua mix who must be neutered before he is adopted.  This handsome young guy has roamed the neighborhood near two Prattville Schools for several weeks.  A kind hearted lady finally gained his confidence, caught him, and brought him to PAHS.  Oliver has a gorgeous brown coat with white markings on his chest.  He weighs 20 pounds so he is considered to be a small adult dog.  Oliver is spunky, active, and quite playful.  He is friendly and would be glad to be in a home with older children.  Oliver has gotten along well with the smaller dogs at the shelter.  If you have a larger dog we would suggest a meet and greet with your dog.  Oliver has decided “street life” is not for him so he is ready to be in a home with his very own loving home.  Please come meet Oliver.  You will see what an awesome guy he is!

Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm except one day each month when we close for staff development.  That will be on February 27th this month.  For more information about our shelter, please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email autaugahumane@yahoo.com., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.

We, and especially the pets, really thank you for your help in finding the homes that they desperately need.

Sincerely, Ara Horn
