Family Home Furniture of Millbrook gave a big surprise to some area kids this year just before Christmas.

Earlier in December, Robert Fales and Brian Edgeworth made an agreement with Santa to be an official drop off for “Letters To Santa” at the store. Initially, they were going to choose one of the children to have their top wish on the to be granted. However, the Spirit of Christmas was strong at Family Home Furniture this year and instead Santa decided to give each child who turned in a letter their top wish.

FHF contacted parents of the kids and invited them back to the store for a special meeting with Santa Claus a few days before Christmas, and let them in on the secret. However, until each individual child was called to Santa’s side, they did not know the big surprise they were getting!

“I just cannot begin to tell you how much this meant to us this year,” one parent told the Elmore/Autauga News. “It has been a very tough year, and this means so much more to my family than (Family Home Furniture and Santa) will ever know.”

According to Owner Robert Fales, it was an honor to be able to bestow special gifts to area children. The store is very community oriented and gives back in many ways throughout the year to schools, Cops and Kids and other organizations.
