MILLBROOK, ALABAMA – The City of Millbrook and the Elmore County Commission are pleased to announce that Chick-fil-A has selected the Marketplace at 17 Springs as the home of its newest restaurant, further establishing the development as one of the River Region’s premier dining and entertainment destinations.
The new 5,600-square-foot Chick-fil-A restaurant will feature the brand’s signature drive-thru service, spacious indoor dining, and a covered outdoor seating area, providing guests with a comfortable place to enjoy their meals year-round.
Chick-fil-A joins a growing lineup of dining destinations at the Marketplace, including Baumhower’s Victory Grille and 1220 Cafe, creating an exciting mix of restaurants that will serve residents, visitors, and the thousands of athletes and families who visit the adjacent 17 Springs Sports Complex each year.
“This announcement represents another major milestone for the Marketplace at 17 Springs,” said Mayor Al Kelley. “Chick-fil-A is one of the most requested restaurants in our community, and we’re thrilled to welcome such a respected brand to Millbrook. Along with Baumhower’s Victory Grille and 1220 Cafe, Chick-fil-A will help create a vibrant destination where families can gather, dine, and enjoy everything 17 Springs has to offer.”
Elmore County Commission Chairman Bart Mercer said the announcement reflects the success of the partnership between the City of Millbrook and Elmore County.
“Chick-fil-A is one of the most iconic brands in the industry, and we appreciate Daniel Grier and Chick-fil-A making this investment in the Marketplace at 17 Springs. Their investment and brand compliment the foresight and dedication shown by the Elmore County Board of Education, GreaterMontgomery YMCA, City of Millbrook, ECEDA and the Elmore County Commission to develop 17 Springs. We are appreciative of the 17 Springs partners and several others in the county who share the vision to improve the quality of life for our citizens throughout Elmore County” stated Chairman Mercer.
The Marketplace at 17 Springs is designed as a retail/commercial destination that complements the award-winning 17 Springs Sports Complex by offering dining, retail, entertainment, and hospitality opportunities. The addition of Chick-fil-A continues the momentum of the development as it grows into a regional destination for Central Alabama.
“We are excited to bring Chick-fil-A to Millbrook and become part of the exciting growth taking place at the Marketplace at 17 Springs,” said Daniel Grier, Chick-fil-A franchise owner. “Our connection to Millbrook runs deep. My wife grew up here and is a graduate of Stanhope Elmore High School, and our family business has been in the area for 26 years. We are grateful to the City of Millbrook, the Elmore County Commission, and everyone who helped make this opportunity possible. We look forward to serving our guests with genuine hospitality and partnering with the community for many years to come.”
Construction information and an anticipated opening date will be announced as the project progresses.
