Prattville High School Athletics
Prattville, AL – May 1, 2026 – This afternoon, Prattville High School announced that Coach Erica DuBois has resigned from her position as Head Girls Basketball Coach.
Coach DuBois has made a tremendous impact on Prattville High School and the Lady Lions Basketball program during her tenure. She leaves with an impressive record of success, winning over 100 games as head coach and leading two teams to the Final Four. More importantly, she has positively influenced countless student athletes through her leadership, commitment, and passion for the game.
“Coach DuBois is an incredible person and leader of young women,” said Prattville Athletic Director Blake Boren. “In 17 years of athletics, she is one of the finest coaches I have worked with, and I have truly enjoyed watching her run her program on a daily basis. We know that Coach D will be successful at whatever she chooses to do in the future.”
Coach DuBois has graciously agreed to assist with the transition to the next leader of Lady Lions Basketball and will remain at the school through May to help ensure continuity for our student athletes and program. Work will begin immediately on identifying the next Head Girls Basketball Coach.
