Cloud 9 Aviation LLC is bringing spooky fun to the skies with its annual Haunted Airport and Zombie Flight, Oct. 17-18, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Prattville Airport.

The family-friendly event invites the community to enjoy an evening of festive frights while supporting a meaningful cause. Admission is $5 per child, with proceeds benefiting Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Chilton and Autauga Counties.

Each year, CASA volunteers advocate for the best interests of more than 14,000 children in Alabama who are navigating the child welfare system. They stand beside children in courtrooms, help them adjust to new homes and ensure their voices are heard when it matters most.

“Giving the proceeds to CASA was an easy choice,” said Elisabeth Gardner, co-owner of Cloud 9 Aviation. “This organization does amazing work, and we’re proud to help support the kids they serve.”

Upon arrival, children 12 and under will receive a trick-or-treat bag, giving them a chance to collect candy, toys and other goodies at themed stations throughout the airport. Attractions will include a witch room, skeleton room, spider room, sensory table, zombie photo booth, face painting and monster musical chairs—all sponsored by local businesses and organizations.

The night’s highlight will come when “zombies” swoop in to take over the airport three times each evening, adding a playful thrill to the festivities. The actors will stay in character but will be careful not to touch or frighten young guests too much.

“This event is just a whole experience, and we are so thankful for our sponsors and volunteers who make this possible,” said Gardner.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, and tickets will be sold at the door. For more information, call 334-361-0060.
