Administrators, faculty, coaches, and families gathered to welcome the newest member of the Prattville Christian Academy family Monday morning.

Head of School Katie Furr welcomed the group and introduced Craig Duncan and family to Prattville Christian Academy.  Duncan now holds the title of Athletic Director with the school. This is not his only reputable title, as he is a husband and a father to two young men.

Duncan brings a treasure trove of experience along with him.  He not only has experience as Athletic Director in previous schools, but has been head coach of wrestling, football, golf, track, baseball and basketball.  Duncan has won many state championships in wrestling. He was initiated into National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2024 and chosen Association Coach of the year in 2013 for the Alabama Chapter.

Makaila Anthony, Marketing and Communications Director of Prattville Christian Academy, in an article on the school’s website shared a quote from Duncan, “I find great enjoyment in striving for the best for families and their students, and seeing those students thrive. It is an honor and a goal to impact the lives of these young student athletes.  It’s not just about sports but teaching lifelong lessons that help shape them into becoming good adults, spouses, and parents.  I hope to strengthen mindsets and grow potential among players.”

Experience along with the intention of impacting student athletes and the families around them, Duncan is positioned to be a wonderful addition to the school.

Good luck and blessings to Coach Duncan as he starts his new adventure with the Prattville Christian Academy family!
