A former assistant fire chief for Coosada Fire Department was arrested this afternoon by the Coosada Police Department.
Scott Kramer, 53, of Coosada was booked into the Elmore County Jail at 4:18 p.m. today on multiple charges including two counts of Rape 2nd degree, Incest with a minor, Sexual Abuse 1st degree and Sodomy 2nd degree.
He remains in jail at the time of this report on a $165,000 bond.
Until his arrest today, Kramer worked as an umpire with Millbrook Parks and Recreation Department, we have confirmed.
We reached out to Coosada Police Chief Leon Smith and the 19th Judicial District Attorneys Office. We will update with any new information when it becomes available.
