Recently, a local inflatable establishment, All About the Bounce, celebrated their third annual Customer Appreciation event in Millbrook. This event was FREE and open to the community. Over 300 people attended, and children played a variety of video games in the Game Cave and jumped on big inflatables, too. Free school supplies, hot pizza, cool ice cream treats, and delicious funnel cakes were given out to everyone who came.

“This year has been a great year for All About the Bounce,” said owner Renault Johnson.

He continued, “Our Customer Appreciation Day is all about saying thanks to the community that supports us in so many ways. This summer we were able to serve over 5,000 breakfast and lunch meals. We plan to continue this program every summer. We had help from local businesses such as Front Porch Grill, Domino’s Pizza, and even anonymous donors. All these local contributors helped make our summer lunch program a success!

“We provided over 150 school supply bags. We had our Bounce Center and Game Room open for all to enjoy. In the past few years, we have provided college scholarships to graduating seniors but this year, we decided to donate to four local teams. These teams included Stanhope Elmore High School Boys Basketball Team, Prattville High School Baseball, Holtville Quarterback Club, and the Montgomery Cardinals Pee Wee Team. We had some great weather and seeing all the kids having fun is what it’s all about. We look forward to what the rest of this year brings us, and we hope everyone has a fantastic school year.”

The four local teams received a check for $250. Morgan Cooley was the winner of a raffle drawing for a $50 Walmart Gift Card at the event.

An incredibly special thanks to Domino’s Pizza, Chill Out Treats (ice cream), Ashiyaa’s Perfections (funnel cakes), Sam Brown (DJ), Lennie Slater, Subrena Davis, and Carolyn Tyus.
