Woman attacked in Prattville; Suspect is from Florida and held with No Bond

Friday night at approximately 6:08 p.m., the Prattville Police Department and the Prattville Fire Department responded to the 2400 block of Pinnacle Lane to a trauma with injury service call.

Officers located an adult female who stated she was forced into a back room of a business and sexually assaulted.

The suspect, now identified as Isaac Mathis, 29, of Pompano Beach Florida was located very quickly near the business. Mathis has been charged with Rape 1^st, Attempted Murder, Robbery 1^st and Arson 1^st.

He is currently being held at the Elmore County Jail on no bond under Aniah’s Law.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation.

The identity and status of the victim will not be released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
