The newly incorporated town of Pine Level will make history this July with their first ever Independence Day parade and celebration as an official town.
The celebration will take place on Saturday, July 6th, at Spirit Walk Ministries, 1908 County Rd. 107, and the parade rolls at 10 a.m. Before and after the parade festivities include food trucks, vendors and other children’s and holiday activities, until 3 p.m. that afternoon.
“I’m excited for our community to come together. We’re trying to create community events and community involvement, and I just really want to encourage people in and surrounding Pine Level to come out and show support to those that are in the parade and the vendors. So come be a part of history,” Pine Level Mayor Zachary Bigley said.
There is still room for parade and vendor applications for the Independence Day festivities. Parade entries have been extended through June 8th. Parade entries can be a business, organization, groups or even individuals. There are over 15 vendors set to be at the historical celebration, and all information can be found on the Pine Level Facebook page.
