Autauga County Schools
Autaugaville School’s new Eagles Garden welcomes students, faculty, and campus visitors with various school-colored plants! This project is the work of several community partners with the goal of teaching employment skills to the school’s special needs students through hands-on supported tasks.
During the school year, Mrs. Provence’s self-contained class works weekly on their school-based work experiences to learn various employment skills, so maintaining the new garden perfectly fits their classroom curriculum. Once the flowers take root and begin to grow, the school’s exterior will come to life.
