ALEX CITY POST – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:38 p.m. Saturday, August 12, has claimed the life of a Dadeville woman. April D. Goggins, 32, was fatally injured when the 2009 Toyota RAV4 she was driving left the roadway, struck an embankment and a tree before overturning. Goggins was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Buttston Road near, approximately 10 miles north of Dadeville, in Tallapoosa County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
