Event will be at Larry Puckett Chevrolet, Prattville from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The Brooks Lazenby Memorial Car Show will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Larry Puckett Chevrolet located on Cobbs Ford Road in Prattville.
Area businesses and groups are helping with the event in Brooks’ memory. Brooks was a pivotal part of the community and an avid car enthusiast. Come out and have a good time!
Brooks was a former member of the singing group 4 By Grace, a local homebuilder, a member of First Baptist Church of Prattville and friend to the Prattville Community. He passed away in May of 2012. This memorial car show has become a regular event in his memory and proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.
There is a $20 entrance fee for each vehicle. There will also be a 50/50 Drawing. This event is open to all cars, trucks and motorcycles. Awards will be given for Top Ten and Best of Show, Best 55, 56, 57; Best 1st and 2nd Gen Camaro; Best Chevelle; Best Old School; Best New School. A drawing for door prizes will be held. Food and drinks are available for purchase.
