The Vida Christmas Parade in Autauga County is traditionally the last parade before Christmas and draws a huge crowd. This year was no different, and some say even better than usual.
The trucks, cars, tractors, horses and floats rolled and the parade was wonderful.
We so appreciate Mandy Jemison and Kimberly Kervin for sharing these photos from the event!
The parade leaves the Vida Community Center, travels down to the right, then turns around and comes right back. This way those attending the parade get to see both sides of every float pass by along the route. Santa was there, bringing lots of cheers as the candy and bobbles sailed through the air.
After the parade, everyone was invited back for lunch, and the chance to purchase Camp Stew and Boston Butts.
Thank you to all who participated, planned and helped keep everyone safe on the biggest small-town Christmas parade in our area. Merry Christmas y’all! If you have never attended the parade in Vida, definitely plan for a visit next year. See more photos in the gallery below!
